Cowpokes and bronco busters descend upon Westgate River Ranch every Saturday night at 7:30 PM for an evening of fun for the whole family at the 1,200-seat rodeo arena. This real-life rodeo features trick riding, bull riding, calf roping, barrel racing, rodeo clown antics and a patriotic, flag-waving tribute to our armed forces accompanied by uplifting, classic country songs such as Lee Greenwood’s “God Bless the USA” and Toby Keith’s “Courtesy of the Red, White & Blue.” In addition, kids are invited into the rodeo arena toward the end of the evening and get the opportunity to participate in a real “calf scramble.” Don’t miss it! Admission for the Saturday Night Rodeo is $15.50 for adults and $8 for children (prices subject to change). Don’t miss the Rodeo Dance immediately following the rodeo where kids can sing, dance and compete in games while the lively DJ entertains the crowd with tunes such as “Macarena,” “Electric Slide” and even “Cotton Eyed Joe.” The rodeo arena lies adjacent to the River Ranch Saloon, which features live music on weekends.
Trap & Skeet Range
One of the most exciting sports in the world, there’s nothing like the feeling of hitting your target at our Trap and Skeet Shooting Range. The more experienced shooters are welcome to bring their own shotgun. Shooters must be at least 13 years of age and able to hold a gun without assistance.
Experience an old-fashioned, tractor-pulled Hayride at Westgate River Ranch that takes you into the beautiful, 7,000-acre KICCO Wildlife Management Area (KICCO stands for “Kissimmee Island Cattle Company), which runs along the Kissimmee River. View wildlife as you are entertained by the talents of a singing cowboy who belts out such classics as Jimmy Buffett’s “Margaritaville” and Merle Haggard’s “Okie from Muskogee” (as well as providing interesting trivia about the KICCO Wildlife Management Area) during your 45-minute hayride adventure! A 13-mile portion of the 1,400-mile Florida Trail (officially known as the Florida National Scenic Trail) winds its way through the area. As its name implies, the KICCO Wildlife Management Area is home to abundant wildlife such as white-tailed deer, bald eagles, wild hogs, hawks, sandhill cranes, wading birds, alligators and wild turkeys. Enjoy a family-style country buffet – that includes barbecue chicken, hotdogs, corn on the cob, baked potatoes, baked beans and iced tea – at the East Corral and, of course, don’t forget to toast marshmallows over the campfire for dessert! Admission is $20 for adults and $13.50 for children (prices subject to change). Private hayrides and cookouts are available for groups any day of the week with advance reservations (prices differ from public hayrides and dinners).
Horseback Riding
Enjoy a horseback riding adventure along the many bridle trails that wind through Westgate River Ranch. The stables lie adjacent to a Petting Farm with ponies, horses, goats, pot-bellied pigs, llamas, emus and peacocks. Pony rides are also available.

The nine-hole regulation golf course is open to resort guests and the general public from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm daily (weather permitting). Daily rates include access to our driving range and putting green. Golf balls, concessions and club rentals are available at our Golf Pro Shop. The 9-hole course at the Westgate River Ranch Resort facility in River Ranch, Florida features 3,321 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 36. Designed by Joseph L. Lee, the Westgate River Ranch golf course opened in 2005.
